We are always quick to point our fingers at different user groups for over-harvesting and taking more than their allocated quota, but is that really where our Pacific stocks are going? I’ve been on that bandwagon for years, be it sports, First Nations or commercials. While they can all be held accountable to a certain extent, is that really what’s going on in our province or is there something on a global scale that’s only now starting to rear its ugly head?
